Widener Walnut Over-Door
American early 20th century hand-carved walnut over-door. It was originally installed in the main gallery of Lynnewood Hall, the P.A.B. Widener estate in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, one of the largest and most famous mansions of America, over the entrance to the Van Dyke Room, which contained 12 Van Dyke paintings.
