Rare & Unique Folk Art Hall Stand
This rare carved and painted hall stand is an important, museum quality work of American folk art. It features a carved stag head, compotes of flowers and canoes. Carved in Sherman Station, Maine, in the last quarter of the 19th century. This was purchased at Christie's in the 1980s. It is in outstanding original condition.
