Conceptual Aircraft

French, c. 1900 this uniquely hand-crafted model airplane is extremely impressive in scale measuring 9 feet long. It may have been built by early avitation pioneer Louis Bleriot, or by his collaborator Gabriel Voisin, with whom he created many variations of experimental airplanes and flying machines, from 1903-06. The construction is predominantly wire with turnbuckles and laminated soft wood, with fabric wings and tail.
