Dutch Safe

 

Dutch 19th century iron safe with complex locking mechanism and three of the most unique and complex keys in the forms of a heart, diamond, and club. numbered 1, 2, and 3 as part of key mechanism, as well as two interior keys. Bears the maker’s mark “B. Rensing McSmid 1846 Amsterdam.” (Height: 68.5” Width: 50” Depth: 25”). Rensing was the manufacturer and McSmid was their master locksmith, much like a master watchmaker. Fabulous as a storage safe for valuables or as a home bar.
